These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Bill Buds mobile application (the “App”). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

Use of the App

Bill Buds helps you split bills and expenses with friends and groups, including scanning receipts to extract items. You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and not to misuse or attempt to disrupt the service.

Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. You must provide accurate information when creating an account.

Subscriptions

• Bill Buds offers auto-renewable subscriptions that unlock unlimited receipt scans. Free users receive a limited number of scans per month.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• The subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings after purchase.
• Prices are shown in the App and may vary by region. Any unused portion of a free trial, if offered, is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

User Content

You retain ownership of the content you create in the App (such as groups, expenses, and receipts). You grant us a limited license to process this content solely to provide the App’s features, including AI-based receipt scanning.

Acceptable Use

• Do not upload content that is illegal, infringing, or harmful.
• Do not attempt to reverse engineer, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the service.

Disclaimer

The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Receipt scanning is automated and may not be fully accurate; you are responsible for verifying amounts before relying on them.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bill Buds shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the App if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
